Aloysius apartments: In the heart of Dolní Morava

Aloysius apartments are located in the heart of the mountain resort Dolní Morava near the church of St. Aloise. From the original building of the old school, a cozy guesthouse with four spacious apartments was built. It is located below the top of Králický Sněžník near the source of the Morava River, which gave the village, part of which falls within the Králický Sněžník National Nature Reserve, its name. The mountain resort with two four-seater cable cars, the Trail in the Clouds, the longest suspension bridge in the world, the longest bobsled run in Central Europe and the famous Trail Park is one of the most sought-after places in the Czech Republic. Pension František Kinský is located far from the hustle and bustle but close to the experience.

In March 2022 I have first visited a house which belongs among the historical sights of Dolní Morava. A villa in a quiet part of the village, literally next door to the Empire-style church of St. Aloysius, locally known as Velká Morava. A place with a distinct character, its unique identity, an inimitable atmosphere and magic. It has once been a school and a kindergarten, and so the locals refer to this house, now after a major reconstruction, as the old school.

A proverb says that a house without people is like a bell without a clapper. And that no house is too small to take up many friends. So come to relax, enjoy new experiences, and explore with us.

A unique complex with two four-seat chairlifts, ski lifts, Skywalk tower, the longest suspended pedestrian bridge in the world, the longest toboggan track in Central Europe, and a magnificent Trail Park belongs among the most popular destinations in the Czech Republic. Children love the Baby Mammoth fun parks with a Giant Mammoth and many other attractions.

we have thought also of the youngest visitors: we will put up a crib, high chair, and baby bathing equipment upon your request. Free of charge you can also borrow an equipped pram and push bike for children up to 3 years.
parking: leave your cars in the car park reserved for the clients of our apartment house, just off the villa.
bikes, skis, cross-country skis and snowboards: leave them in a secure lockable and monitored garage.

How to reach us

by car:

From Olomouc or Pardubice follow road No 11 in the direction to Králíky. In Králíky, take the first exit on the roundabout in the direction to Červený potok along road No 312. In Červený potok, turn left just before the church in the direction to Dolní Morava, and then continue to Velká Morava. Cross the bridge and turn sharp right after the Konzum grocery store and bus station; follow uphill for about 100 metres to the small parking lot in front of the Aloysius Apartments. Your holiday has just begun.

by bus:

From Králíky take a bus to Dolní Morava – obchod (shop) and take a sharp turn to the right, it is a short walk up a small hill before you reach the parking lot in front of the Aloysius Apartments. Welcome to Dolní Morava and enjoy your holiday.

Konzum Coop 24/7: modern and fully equipped grocery store just 150 m from the apartments, opening hours: Mo-Fri: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Sat-Sun: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Mo-Sun: 5:00 AM – 24:00 fully automated self-service operation with secured entry using application with checked bank identity). Next to the shop is the Konzum Cafe coffee shop selling coffee, cakes, panini, hot dog, and much more.
